Bob Doyle is a Republican politician who served in the Ohio General Assembly. An insurance agent from Beavercreek, Ohio, Doyle initially ran following reapportionment in 1982 to a seat help by Jim Zehner. He won, and was seated on January 3, 1983. By 1992, Doyle was a veteran legislator, but faced primary opposition.[1] Facing mounting financial difficulties and bankruptcy, Doyle lost the nomination to Marilyn Reid, who would go on to win the general election.[2] In all, Doyle spent ten years, or five terms as a legislator.
Following his time in the legislature, Doyle returned to the private sector. He eventually founded a government relations firm and established himself as a lobbyist. He currently is a partner with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP.
